Shae is passionate about facilitating transformative experiences and she enjoys encouraging clients to discover an alignment between body and mind. The clients who align the most to Shae’s unique form of treatment are willing to take an active role in their own healing journey.
Shae graduated with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2009. She is registered in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. She has been in the rehabilitation industry for more than 8 years, working with a variety of clients including, but not limited to those with active insurance claims, workplace claims, athletic injuries, mental health concerns (anxiety and depression), pregnancy related concerns, pre and post surgical concerns, and acquired brain injuries.
Shae is also an experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance, with over 1000hrs of teaching experience. After completing her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2014, Shae continued to deepen her knowledge by completing the following yoga programs:
- 85hrs of Kundalini certifications with Sempervivia Yoga
- 85hr Prenatal Yoga Training with La Lupa Via Wellness
- 25hr Prenatal Yoga Training with Lori Lucas
- 500 hr Pranayama Teacher Training with Pranayama Sadhana.
Shae specializes in the transformative Yoga of intuitive Kundalini: An awakening practice that strengthen the body, regulates emotions, controls the mind and enlivens you.
In her sessions, Shae uses a variety of intelligently weaved together healing modalities to create a fusion between her rehabilitation experience, earth medicine traditions, yogic postures and philosophy, to empower and support her clients. Additionally, through conscious movements she helps clients create a deeper connection to the medicine that already exists within them.
Shae also offers integrated retreats, workshops, yoga classes and education sessions for patients and practitioners alike.
When she is not working with clients, Shae focuses on enriching her life with time spent in nature, reading, refining her yoga practice and cooking.
